This past summer I had the privilege of working with George Marshall, recent author of Don’t Even Think About It: Why Our Brain are Wired to Ignore Climate Change, on his book campaign. The book investigates why we find it so psychologically difficult to cope with climate change, and offers ideas for how we might start to overcome this. George is a charming fellow with some fresh insights into climate change. A lot of what he said in his book surprised and challenged me to think about climate change differently. He has already received some glowing reviews from big names like Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein and Bill Nye.
My job with George was primarily to manage social media, e-mail communications and media relations for the book. One of my favorite responsibilities was helping design graphics to promote the book, so I decided to share some here:
